About us

So who are we?

We are a mum and daughter team - this is us on Mother's Day last year :)

We both love sewing, and have done it all our lives.

Jen is a mum to two beautiful twin boys - Hamish and Lachlan - who are 8 months old.

Karen is Jen's mum, and also a twin mum - to Jen's sisters Deborah and Angela - who are 31.

We started making these beautiful goodies for Jen and her twin mum friends. We all thought our giant double prams needed a bit of personality (like we don't attract enough attention with our twinnies anyhow....). But we needed something really practical too. So Jen designed the first liner, and then together we created the full collection.

And it has taken off from there. We feel very blessed to have enjoyed such support in such a short timeframe.

So who are Immie & Ollie?
Well, that's a funny one.

When Jen found out she was pregnant with twins, she was sure they were going to be a boy and a girl, so started calling them 'Immie' (Imogen) and 'Ollie' (Oliver), two names she has loved for a long time. Even when the ultrasounds showed she was having two boys, she still thought they would be a boy and a girl. People get these things wrong sometimes don't they??

Well, no, actually. At least not in this case.

She has two divinely adorable boys - Hamish and Lachlan - and wouldn't change it for the world.

Thank you My First Room

Today's meeting with My First Room went really well. The lovely women there were quite taken with immie&ollie, and have taken us on. So that is three out of three. We're getting there :)

Two new stocksts

We've had some brilliant news this week. Two wonderful stores have fallen in love with immie&ollie and are stocking us.

Thank you so much to Little People's Linen - a fabulous store filled with the most beautiful baby things. Thanks Mel.

And a big thank you to EGG Maternity all the way over in New Zealand! Only a couple of weeks of operation and we're already international - heehee. Thanks Eneka!

I have a meeting in the morning with another fabulous Brisbane baby shop, and I have a good feeling about it. When I emailed through some pictures the owner was incredibly positive and put in an order for a liner for her little boy's pram!

We had our first ever product photo shoot this week. Don't the babies look adorable! They were so well-behaved too, despite the sticky Brisbane heat.
